Rescue Backstory: 
"Big Mama" is a beautiful bay snowflaked appaloosa mare who was rescued from a kill lot in Colorado as a 15 year old on October 3rd, 2017 with her 3 month old filly called "Baby Munch" at her side. They arrived to us on October 20th, 2017.
 
Adoption Description:
Beautiful, gentle, friendly bay snowflaked Appaloosa mare, approximately 15 hands and 16 years old who was rescued from a kill pen and is now looking for her forever home.
She is a gentle soul, kind, sweet, and well mannered. Great to lead and handle. Calm and not spooky. She would be very happy as your loving companion, or would need an experienced rider to give her a refresher under saddle, where she could be a wonderful kids, trail, or lesson horse. 
I've been told she is a piece of history after discovering she came from "Leachmans Hairpin Cavvy" in Montana by the hairpin shaped brand faintly on her left cheek.
